Parent Volunteers at STAR

STAR Academy welcomes volunteers. There are many ways to help at your students’ school. We are always in need of volunteers to help supervise our students in the cafeteria, on the playground, and with traffic control before and after school. If you would like to help in your students’ classroom, please check with the teacher to see what times would be of the most assistance to him/her. There are also opportunities to volunteer to help at special events and on field trips.

 In the enrollment packet, parents agree to donate two hours a month per child to help at the school. When parents fulfill this obligation, each classroom benefits from your service. Also, it is a great opportunity for parents to see what their students are learning and to spend some quality time with them in their academic setting.
